In
Hyderabad, Secunderabad Cantonment, two pump houses started running with Solar Power
, Namely one Pump House at
Balamrai the other at Karkhana. DGDE, Southern Command, Pune Sri Jojneswar Sharma inaugurated these plants on
Monday.
A solar power
plant with a capacity of 80 Kw at Balamrai and another with a capacity of 140
KW at Karkhana Pump House were installed . Both pump Houses together Contributed Rs.4,00,000/-Electricity Bills
, now money can be saved with the help of solar power.
Now , work
on rooftop solar power office has began which houses Officials and 200 Staff.
The work is
expected to complete within 2 months, Rajkumar, senior Official, SCB said .
